What would you do if you were adopted?
A friend of mine in her early 20s found out that she was adopted. She asked me what would I do if I found out I was adopted? Would I search for my biological parents? How would I go about doing it?
The situation is that the adopted parents don’t have much info on her biological parents. All they know is the surname of the mother and that she was just 15 years old when she delivered which would mean she’s 38 years old today. My friend was born in University Hospital in PJ and not in Penang as the adopted parents had told her earlier. The adopted parents didn’t have any documents to register her birth certificate so they had to go back to Penang where they paid some money to get the necessary documents done up.
Seriously I don’t know how to go about looking for them but I would pray hard that my biological parents are filthy rich! ;)
