I want another child
![]() |
On Sunday night, I went over to my mom’s place to watch football with my brothers. When I walked in, I was surprised to see this little girl there. Her parents pay my mom to take care of her during the day when they are off at work. My mom is someone who doesn’t ‘kira’ and is willing to look after the little girl for a few days and nights straight without charging anything extra. She did it before when the parents wanted to go for a vacation.
This time the little girl’s mother had to get up early in the morning than usual, so she asked my mom to take care of her daughter for the night. Again no extra charge. Which babysitter so good wan you tell me?
Anyway, she’s 13 months old now and she can walk about and give funny facial expressions. Really ‘rugi’ I didn’t bring my camera last night. That photo above was taken a few months ago when she was just about 6 months old. Now she looks even cuter.
At that time, she was afraid to let me carry her (what to do my ‘yeung suei’ ugly) but this time when I opened up my arms and asked her whether she wanted ‘pou-pou’ (carry), she quickly walked over to me and let me carry her. It was a shiok feeling for me. (You swinging singles won’t now what I’m talking about wan lar).
I love kids. The whole night I was more caught up with her than the football. Ok, maybe not. But she made me smile many times. She mimicked us the whole time. When we shouted out "Oww! Oh!" because of misses chances in the game, she would follow us, "ooowwwww…. ooowwwww…." and won’t stop. Did I mention I love kids?
Sometimes when I visit some of your blogs, especially those of you mothers with young children and I read about your young ones, it really does put a smile on my face to look at photos of your young ones, to read about what they do, etc. That’s why I seldom leave comments. Why? Because I jealous. Hahahaha… nolar, just joking. I don’t want you to know that I was there. Must maintain my machoism a bit mar. How can a full blooded macho man like me, feel lum at the sight of a young child. Come mon! :P
Not long after my son was born, my wife asked me if I ’sau kung’(stop work) oledi with the birth of my son. She wanted one more. At that time, our marriage was already filled with tulan-ness and things between us got worst. So…
Now there’s no chance of that happening. Unless, someone gets me and my wife very drunk, strip us down, put us in a bed together and play some Kenny G music. Then perhaps.
I’ve also heard her talking to some relatives that after so many years now, she’s gotten her figure back and doesn’t want to ruin all her hard work by getting pregnant again. Can you read between the lines? This means she’s keeping a toy boy outside! :P Kakakakaka.
So my wife doesn’t want to get pregnant. ‘Someone’ doesn’t want to have kids. So what options do I have left?
Anyone want to get pregnant with my child? :P

Fuiyo Adrian… who would wanna get pregnant with ur child? :P
Reply : Yealor… that’s why now wan another one also difficult… kakakakaka.

‘The whole night I was more caught up with her than the football.’
Brother how to concentrate when LIVERFOOLS lost to MAn United..3-0 man.I wanna do a post about it but sked kena beat up!!ahahahaha
Reply : REFEREE BIASE LAH!!! :P
But seriously, true liverpool fans will agree with me that we didn’t have any expectations of them winning it this year. They are still 2-3 quality players short of being champions. I expected either MU or Chelsea to win it. I also didn’t expect Arsenal to do so well.

Kenny G??!! :D
Sure you want to bring another child to the world? Big responsibility, you know. And the world is such a screwed up place.. :P
That’s what most people say, it’s always the hubby who want more kids and the wife dun. My case is terbalik. A lot of people, incl my MIL want us to have more kids because my kids got good *ahem* genes, but hubby dun wan. Me? I just wan to try again and see if the next one is like the first 2 or not. So cute if the 3rd oso paeng yan, hor?? I love my babies, esp when they are between age 1-4. They are extra cuddly then!!
Nowadays hubby never believe me whenever he ask if it’s ’safe’ or not… because everytime he ask, I always say ’safe’!! heehee…
Reply : Yeah, Kenny G.
Why not? So what if the world is screwed up, I’m sot sot dei also wat. :P
Yeah, age 1-4 that’s the best.
So if one day u’re ‘not safe’ and u tell him u’re ’safe’… then how?

Honestly? This all reeks of miscommunication. You should talk to her, ask her. Not listen someone’s who heard someone who overheard someone whom your wife might have or might not have told.
Who knows, she might think it’s a good thing also? For all you know it might just be the thing that will bring the spark back in your relationship. Hahaha.
Good luck!
Reply : Huh? Who overheard who overheard who again? Nolar, it was me. I heard my wife say that to her relative. Besides, my wife has oledi told me no more.

Haha … guys who love cute babies are so sweet!! I know that feeling - I used to want to have babies everytime I carry someone else’s in my arms. ;-)
The thing is, these babies grow up so fast and pretty soon, they become pre-teens, teenagers and then you gotta worry about boyfriends/girlfriends, college fees and the whole works.
I think u need a holiday more than a baby right now Adrian. Who knows, u might also end up getting a baby as a bonus? LOL
Relpy : I just came back from a holiday.

As much as my husband and I enjoy our boys’ “babyhood”, we dare not think of adding another one. he is already saying that my stress level have increased since #2. So before I turned into an unreasonable insane freak… i better stop and just enjoy babies from the sidelines.
I never thought you would enjoy mummy blogs …bbbutt I rarely see you in my blog wor. how come??
Reply : Psst… actually the real reason I wan another is to drive my wife mad! Kakakakaka.. just joking.
I admit to u now ah… every time u update ur blog, I’ll read about it. I have ur blog on my google reader ok.
I read about ur son biting his classmate, I read about ur dilemma with chinese school, national school (I wanted to give my comment but then decided I should blog about why I chose national school for my kids buthen after sometime, potong stim liao, so never did blog about it) :P

Wei, other people’s kids are always cuter one lah. Play with them, so fun. You don’t have to change nappy, wash bum bum, clean up vomit, wake up in the middle of the night, etc…
Reply : It’s not just the playing that I miss, it’s the ‘feel’… dunno what lar… :P
I only tell u this ah, I dun tell anyone else… who do u think did most of the nappy change, wash bum bum, wake up in the middle of the night, etc… Me & my maid, or my wife? I think u know the answer.
