Update : Kena Stroke?
I went to meet a potential client today in Shah Alam with my business partner. The client is a telecommunications company (the yellow man "I will follow you" company).
During my presentation, instead of saying their company name, I said "We would like to thank Maxis for giving us the opportunity to….." *oh shit* I did it again. I laughed at myself and thankfully the client found it to be farnee as well and they joined in, laughing at me. They jokingly asked if I was a loyal Maxis customer who had a problem doing business with one of their competitors. :P
After completing my presentation, it was discussion time and the clients had some questions for us. Answering one of their questions, I again mentioned Maxis instead of them! And this time, they weren’t laughing. They must be thinking one time is a mistake, two times is just rudely mocking them. :P
After the meeting, my partner made it a point to let me know that if we don’t get the job, it is entirely my fault. :P

I diagnose it not as stroke, but as a classic foot-in-mouth-itis. You have all the symptoms! :P

me thinks too much stress. next time when you pitch again to them, keep thinking yellow man yellow man…then should be able to remember its NOT maxis kua… :P

You know the yellow man ad in the cinema, the one that asks ppl to switch off the phone? The one with the tai-kor who is talking and laughing loudly on the phone and the yellow man don’t dare ask him to shaddup? I always think of you when I see the tai-kor. Dunno why…
