Serious case of negligence
I don’t understand this. How could someone allow a 3 year old to walk alone at 10pm at night, to his grandfather’s home, some 200 metres away!? In this case, I feel the parents should be held responsible.
3-year-old kidnap victim found dead
IPOH: The body of a three-year-old boy, who was believed to have been kidnapped Sunday night, was found at the estuary of Kuala Bagan Tiang River, Bagan Serai, 120km from Ipoh on Monday.
Kerian police chief Supt Mat Fauzi Nayan said Lee Li Xuan’s body was found floating among tree branches at about 10am by villagers who then alerted the police.
Fauzi said the victim’s father, Lee Boon Chung, 25, had lodged a police report that a man kidnapped his son while he was watching a stage show at a garden near his grandfather’s house in Bagan Tiang at 10pm last night.
Li Xuan was said to have walked alone to his grandfather’s house from his home in Taman Damai, some 200 metres away, to watch the show.
Clad in a blue T-shirt and a red short pants, Fauzi said Li Xuan was said to have been abducted in a Proton Aeroback which was seen heading for Parit Buntar
No arrest has been made so far.

The parents are definitely retarded. My daughter is 5.5 yrs old.. and we won’t let her across the road .. in broad daylight..!

i posted this news on fb.. at first, i felt so angry with the parents.. then i felt so sad for the boy.. :’( hope it was painless for him.. :’(
Reply : Don’t u sense something is not right with the father’s story? 3yr old boy walking alone at 10pm? Most 3yr olds I know would be afraid to walk alone for 200m, at night summore.

Times have changed lar. When I was a young boy I used to run around my kampung without fear.
Now everyone don’t feel safe. Kids are kept locked up and only can go out under the ever watchful eyes of their parents….
Reply : I agree. Although in this case its like deliberately putting the boy at unnecessary risk.

The newspaper report seems implausible. This reminds me of the case in Penang where the mother claim her child was kidnapped. There were numerous pleas in the newspapers from the mother asking for information on the whereabouts of her kid. Turns out she and the boyfren were responsible.

i don’t think it’s impossible that a 3 y.o is willing to walk out alone at 10pm. afterall it’s around his hse and perhaps the lure of stage show was too great for him. and some parents are really THAT stupid.
but this doesn’t sound like a kidnap case, it sounds more like premeditated murder. a kidnapper would had ask for ransom first or traffic the boy to another country to sell. unless the boy was really so unlucky to meet a lunatic who happen to feel like killing a young kid at that very moment.
Reply : Its possible but still 200m away is quite a distance for a 3 yr old to walk alone.
Or it was done by some stupid fella high on drugs. when he came to, got scared and just got rid of the kid by throwing him into the river.

i think that’s the problem with young parents. they are not mature enough to care for another being, especially child abuse cases. Some can’t even control their own emotions and use the kids as punching bags!

maybe instead of getting newly wed to attend a class n get a cert b4 getting married, they should make it compulsory for young parents to attend a class before they give birth

I think its the same with the mother of my children. She wanted kids bcoz she saw other people’s kids so cute like dat. But when our own kids arrived, walaueh! Culture shock! So many things need to take care of. Not just cute play time.

why the father let his son walk to the grandfather house ALONE by the way.. and the kidnaper never even bother to ask for ransom - straight away kill the son ?? weird right …
Reply : It could be a random abduction I think. They probably wanted to ask the kid for details but didn’t get much from the 3yr old, dunno who the father is, so just buang the poor kid into the river. Could be.

I don’t understand also. Why the kidnapper’s want to hurt a 3 year boy when he can’t do any harm to them? Why they can be so heartless? This is so wrong !!!! Hope he rest in peace.

I think the father killed the boy and made up story saying that the kid is abducted and report fake police report.
Notice the father is only 25? Obviously the child might be an unwanted child. Shotgun marriage. And the girl probably the fattest ugliest but easiest to get to bed with him. So mah like dat lor.
I started to worry about my ex-roomate’s kid. She might kill her.
